Here are the panes of piecing I've done for the Thaler's quilt. I've arranged them as you see them on the left.
Below is another image of the same panes, but with a background taken from the fabric I'll probably use for the "mortar" in between the panes. Because of the vagaries of different computer monitors, I can't say how close any of the colors you're seeing are to the actual colors, but this gives you an idea.
