ok, we're cutting to the chase here.  Maybe some day I'll go back and give a blow-by-blow of the methods I tried to inset the tentacles, and show how the lower corners are constructed so that it will fit onto Stefanie's 4-poster bed, and then knit itself back together with velcro.....
